We are going to SeriesFest!
When life happens for you, instead of to you, and you choose to create no matter what happens.
We are incredibly honored to share that our pilot, The Mercy Cage, has been selected as an Official Selection at SeriesFest: Season 11! 🎬 It will be competing in Pitch-A-Thon, and we are beyond excited to showcase our work alongside many other amazing projects. Huge thanks to the @seriesfest team for this opportunity!
And our first mention in Deadline 🥲 Keep making your own work, friends, it is worth it!

I don’t want to be just an actor anymore. I’ve been challenged multiple times, in the last year and a half, to embrace directing. There has been nothing more rewarding to me, than watching the babies (films, not actual babies lol) that I created, come to life and get out into the world.
To be honest, I felt like something was wrong with me if I was not getting picked to act, be in a show, etc, and in rebelling against the system to create something, I found the thing that was inside of me all along:
I am a storyteller.
Sometimes I am a vessel for someone else’s storytelling. But the most fulfilling work to me now, is the work that I get to create, whether it’s through producing, writing, directing, or some combination of those things.
We are multi-hyphenates.
Gone are the days of “specializing in one thing” or “worrying about confusing people” or “being a master at one thing.”
If you are a creator, create. Don’t wait.
It’s not sexy when you complain if you aren’t doing anything about it.
Sitting around and waiting for people isn’t sexy.
Create community.
Write.
Make things.
Move the train.
And then people will climb aboard the train with you.
I am still in complete shock, that our pilot and show will be at SeriesFest. It’s a dream come true. I’ve dreamed since I was a little kid, about having my name in Deadline someday.
I let go of the system months ago, determined to create and make my art no matter what, but I can’t lie and say that seeing our names in Deadline wasn’t the most amazing feeling of a lifelong dream coming true.
I am grateful to make art.
I am grateful how art moves me.
I am grateful how art moves others.
I am grateful when my art is recognized.
I am grateful to share it with others.
I am grateful to share stories I feel deep in my soul I must share.
Make your art. Share it with the world. Just keep going, even when it seems like no one notices.
Someday. They. Will.
Your. Art. Will. Change. Lives.
